Kapha-dominant individuals are typically strong, stable, and nurturing. To balance Kapha, Ayurvedic dietary recommendations focus on incorporating light, warming foods. Spices such as black pepper and ginger are beneficial, as are a variety of colorful vegetables. Minimizing heavy, oily, and sweet foods helps prevent Kapha imbalance.
